Join us at in welcoming Designer Leslie Ann Robinson to Baltimore. Leslie is bringing samples of her work to help you choose your next knitting project. Leslie is excited to help you pick out yarn and answer your questions.

TEXTURAL BRIOCHE

Look at knitting a bit differently by exploring different textures created by brioche techniques! In this  class, we will dive into several distinct stitch patterns using one, two, and even three color brioche knitting. Together  we will look at color choices, and cast on a swatch to practice these new stitches. Consider this a special workshop to  broaden your brioche horizons!

FIXING & FINISHING BRIOCHE 

Gain confidence with your brioche knitting by learning how to fix mistakes, pick up dropped stitches,  place lifelines, and add those finishing touches to your brioche projects! Feel free to bring any of your brioche projects  you might want to fix or finish, or you can sit back and treat this as a lecture!

Crafternoons | Fridays 1-4 pm

Join us at our Studio Shop for an afternoon of making and community. Grab a friend — make new ones — and bring your knitting, crochet, spinning or any hand stitching project to unwind at the end of the week.

  • This is a FREE event.
  • Using NFC yarn is not required to participate.
  • This is not a class and instruction will not be provided by the NFC team.

Knitting Rescue | Saturdays 10 am-12 pm

Knitting Rescue is for makers that know how to knit but need help with understanding a pattern, learning a new technique, fixing mistakes or basic guidance modifying a pattern. Your instructor Ellen is an expert knitter, designer and tech editor with experience teaching garments, accessories, brioche, lace, colorwork and more.

$35 per student for 2 hours of instruction.

Using NFC yarn is not required to participate.
